Weddings by Carolyn

Carolyn saved my mom and I a ton of headaches! During our meetings, she was amazing. Very helpful, good with our budget and has great vendor connections. On the wedding day, she seemed a little off, but everything still went smoothly. All in all, she's one of the best wedding planners at a great price in Dallas.

One of the best wedding-related decisions I made was to hire Carolyn as my wedding planner. I'm generally a do-it-yourself kind of girl, but since planning a wedding was a new one for me, I wanted someone whose experience and judgment I could count on, and I got that and so much more in Carolyn. Carolyn has an innate ability to understand her brides' needs, motivation, personality, etc., which makes her so well-suited for her job. She very quickly got a feel for what I wanted for my wedding, and she was tireless in helping me make it a reality. Her vendor recommendations, from DJ to invitations and everything in between, were excellent; the people she put me in contact with were a perfect fit. I had very little stress leading up to the wedding and on my wedding day itself, in large part because I knew Carolyn was there to make everything run smootly. Our ceremony and reception were exactly as we wanted them to be. It sounds cliche, but Carolyn's role has evolved from wedding planner to friend, and for that I am so appreciative.

Carolyn was professional,friendly and a joy to work with. I was not planning on using a wedding planner for the day of our wedding because I wanted to plan the wedding myself but little did I think about who would take care of every single detail the day of the wedding! I am so glad I chose Carolyn. We had such a fun evening and Carolyn took care of everything. She did everything she said she would and much more. I also gained a new friend! We had so much fun just talking. I would highly recommend her to the bride (like myself) that thinks she can take care of everything on her wedding day and of course everyone else. Thanks!!

Carolyn made my wedding the fantasy I always dreamed about. I know I probably drived her crazy all the times I called to ask questions but she was always there for me. She would relax me when I was stressed and she would take care of any situation that came up.She made our Wedding day run smoothly and stress free. I will always be indeaded to her for everything she did for us.She was not only my wedding planner she is now and will always be my friend.Thank you so much Carolyn for everything.

Carolyn was our life saver. We were juggling demanding jobs, trying to sell two homes and trying to create a beautiful wedding memory. Carolyn stepped in as our wedding planner and provided strategic and tactical solutions to our wedding plan. Carolyn listened to our wishes, provided us superior customer service, kept our wedding under budget and provided more than we expected. We are so glad we selected Carolyn Brown as our wedding planner.

Carolyn was an absolute life saver! She loves her job and it's obvious from the first time you meet her. She stays calm and collected, even if there's a bump in the road, and is truely concerned with her bride being able to enjoy every moment. Carolyn works very well with vendors, and makes sure her bride's vision is top priority. She has a very good list of vendors and extremely good relationships with all of them. Any vendor I chose that had worked with Carolyn in the past was relieved when they realized Carolyn would be running the show. I hired Carolyn as a wedding planner and ended up with an amazing friend! My sister (and maid of honor) saw Carolyn work her magic, and will not get married without Carolyn to help her along the way.

Carolyn is the sweetest person you'd want to meet to help you plan your wedding and talk things over with. If I had to rate her as a person she'd have 10 stars out of 5; she's a wonderful, caring person with a sweet spirit!! Also, I got some amazing resources from her for other vendors. Shanstar photography is amazing! Okay, back to my coordinator; leading up to the wedding, communication and responsiveness was A+++!! Like I said, awesome woman. Our issue is with the actual day of the wedding. We did not feel like guests at our wedding. To be fair, I do have a complete and total type A personality; but at the same time, a wedding day is not a dress rehearsal, you get one shot and when I think back to mine, the motto about being a guest at your wedding was not true for us and we think it would have been better with a team and not just the coordinator by herself with a helper that comes later after people have already started arriving. I do think that if you are having a small, simple and standard wedding you'll be in excellent hands and you'll have someone that's great to work with!

I cannot say enough for what Carolyn did at our wedding. It was litterally a dream wedding! We had two receptions, and she did a great job assisting from one to the other. She also provided great vendors who were less money and did a better job then the ones we found on our own! We provided her with a list of vendors just like she asked us to with their names, contact info, and if they were paid in advance or the day of. She was very organized and made sure the wedding started on time - which it did! Again, this was a dream wedding full of memories I won't ever forget. She was the key to that, and I appreciate all she did!!!!

Carolyn is a sweet woman who helped the day go more smoothly which is what we wanted. We hired her just for week of coordination and she was much less than other coordinators. She helped coordinate everything with the venue, band and caterer but not so much with helping to make sure they were paid. She did help set up the venue and did her best to help keep a very rowdy wedding party in line.

Weddings by Carolyn really helped me stay sane throughout the entire proecess. We endured many challenges during the planning of our wedding and Carolyn truly helped us create a day that we were very proud of.

Carolyn was very nice to work with, and provided us with great vendors. Our wedding was very large and might have been a little overwhelming for her on the actual day, but overall she did a good job helping me organize the event.
