Derek and Shannon are wonderful to work with and it is so nice to have a couple to work with at a wedding. We barely knew they were there during the reception and kept us moving through the after family shots so family members could enjoy the reception. We have only seen the output of the Bridal portraits but it the quality of those shots are any sign of what is to come, I know we will have an outstanding portfolio of what was a very memorable day.

Derek and Shannon did an exceptional job! Both Raul and I are extremely happy with the finished product of our wedding, the pictures look amazing and are exactly what we had expected. Derek and Shannon are awesome. They were great to work with! From the bridal portraits, engagement photos and to the day of the wedding they were wonderful. They make a great team and are very friendly to work with. Derek was receptive to our wishes and put us at ease. We had a great time during our engagement shoot and the pictures were beautiful! We are still getting rave reviews from the pictures. On the wedding day Derek and Shanon showed up early and were very flexible with us and all of my family. I could not have been more pleased! If I had to do it again I would rebook them!!

Static Sixx was so awesome! I can not say enough great things about them! We had a large group with a bunch of extended family and out of town guests and Derek was great at accommodating all the numerous special requests. The photo wall was an amazing addition to the reception and everyone loved it. Derek was also very flexible with my bridal pictures and went the extra mile to get great locations for them and the engagements pictures. I could not be happier with their service! Static Sixx has been SUCH a joy to work with. Derek and Shanon are a wonderful team and they make everything so fun and personable. They were even able to get my husband to smile for a few pictures! No easy feat I assure you. Everything we did with them exceeded my expectations. They helped us get pictures I wouldn't have even thought of myself. The engagements were fun and unique, the bridals were stunning, and they captured everything I could have wanted from the wedding day. I've had so many people ask who my photographers were because they were so impressed with their work! I hope that they are able to use our fantastic pictures to bring in more business, because they deserve it and should definitely be one of the top photographers in the area!

We met them at the Plano bridal show and then met with them 2 months later to look at their albums and their complete work. And we both feel in love with their style and their personalities. They were the best during the whole wedding planning process. They would answer emails within hours, and were so very helpful.. Our engagements and bridals were fantastic. They were so easy to work with. They came to the rehearsal not only to capture that for us but also to help with positions and timing. On the wedding day I wouldn't have wanted any other photographer with us. I can't say enough good things about them. Derek met the groom and groomsmen at the golf course to capture their golf before the wedding. And Shannon came to be with us girls, basically they kept me sane. They went with the flow of things so easily. And I know they captured a ton of photos at the wedding but they faded back to the back ground and captured everything. The weather didn't cooperate at all and I know we all wanted more photos but I think they quickly recovered and I know we will have a wonderful wedding album. They also did our sign in book and I still tear up when I look thru it. It blows my mind at how wonderful and artistic it is. The pictures are amazing and I love them all! I thought their pricing was very competitive and I feel we got so much for the money. I would work with them again in a heart beat. I know they will be our family photographer from now on.

Static sixx is one of the best vendors I had for my wedding day!! You get two for photographers for the price of one and they caught every picture!! Derek as well as if wife were extremeley easy to work with and had great photo ideas. I truely would recommend them to anyone getting married and have actually done so.My best friend also used them for her anniversery pictures and loved them as well. Derek and Shanon are a pleasure to work with. Our engagement session was fantastic and we still get rave reviews from it. We just got married on October 25 and are waiting for Derek to get back from his hiatus from the wedding world so we can see our "Day Of" pictures.

Static Sixx, Derek and Shanon were awsome to work with.They were very professional, really nice and the quality and craftsmenship of their work was immaculate. I'm an architect and as far as compostion design and quality, I'm very tedious, I myself was impressed. Of course there is alway one or two pictures or back grounds I wish could of been different but that is expected. As far as cost goes, well they were a little more then we wanted to spend. But, I do have to say, they were cheaper then the quality and service they provided, especially when you see the quality of other overpriced photographers. I don't think we paid them enough after we saw the product they delivered. They are one of the very few photographers that will give you the rights to your pictures, which means they will give you a cd with all the high resolution pictures for you to print from. Most professional photographers won't do that so they can nickel and dime you later for additional prints. Static Sixx isn't like that, they will give you more then you will want. They will also work with you to get you to the costs you need. Their packages are a starting points. Don't let the initial numbers scare you. I suggest you talk to them, rather then dismiss them. My wife and I had a very unique (Coptic Orthodox) wedding, on a hot day, with an overcrowded church where the A/C wasn't working properly. Like the champs that they are, they not only didn't complain but adjusted to the changing circumstances, threw in a few good ideas as well as gave us more time then we agreeed on in the contract, for free. In other words they aren't clock watchers, nor did they rush us, yet they were ontime. I do feel bad because I don't remenber if they ate anything at the wedding or not. They were with us all day for 13 hours working, it didn't seem like they took even a five miniute break. Final thought, weddings are the single most difficult of events to photograph, if a photographer misses a kiss, a smile, a tear, or a look, that moment is gone in time forever and will never be repeated. Be confident that if you hire Static Sixx, which I highly recommend that you do, all your moments that make life worth living, will be there for you to view another day in all it's quality.

Derek was a great photographer for our wedding and engagement pictures. He was willing to work with the staff at our venue, even though they were hard to work with. I think Derek helped keep people calm in a stressful situation - it was raining. We got a good deal, but it looks like his package prices have gone up. The only negative is that we didn't get the prints that we ordered - there were a few that were the wrong picture. They resolved this right away and sent us the correct pictures within a month.

He did a great job. We got some really unique photos. I really loved the fact that they were so unobtrusive, avoiding any interruptions of the flow of the service.
