Thank you very much for the work you and your team have done for us on my wedding day. We all looked fabulous :). The make-up you did for me, was just what i wanted, and I looked like a celebrity with my hairstyle. I got a lot of 'you are a beautiful bride' that day :) Also, you made the day very relaxing for us. I not only enjoyed the wedding itself, but i also very much enjoyed the hours that led to it because the people (you and your staff, my mom and bridesmaids) around me made it very comfortable and stress-free.

Michelle did my wedding hair and make-up as well as my moms. From the time I had my trial run until the wedding I had changed my mind around 3 times. She was so flexible and patient. She did a great job, I received so many compliments and my husband loved my hair and make-up. She was so great to work with, super nice and very knowledgable. I would recommend her to anyone, you will not be disappointed!

It was "magic" that I found Michelle. She knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding hairstyle. Everything worked out perfectly. I loved my hair.

Michelle came highly recommended to me by my wedding coordinator and so I trusted her completely. No doubt that Michelle did a beautiful job on my hair and make up. However each time I came to her house for our appointment,she seemed a bit flustred and stressed. She was nice enough, but when my maid of honor and best friend arrived to her home salon on my wedding morning, she would not allow them both in the salon to stay with me. I spent my entire wedding morning alone with her, without any of my girls around. Despite arriving an hour early, I was late arriving to the church because it took and extra 45 minutes longer to do my hair and make up than at my trial. Michelle did fantastic work, but working with her was not as easy as I would have hoped.

Michelle was amazing! I'm so glad that I checked online and found out about her services, because my hair and makeup were beautiful for both my bridal portraits and wedding day! I got several compliments from family and friends. She's fun to talk with and knows a lot about hair, makeup and beauty..her years of experience definitely show in her work. The airbrush makeup is awesome & makes your skin look flawless. It's also waterproof and will last throughout your entire wedding day & night. She is well worth the cost and will give you her undivided attention. She also did the hair for my matron of honor and one of my bridesmaids, & they both looked fabulous! Make sure to bring her pictures of what you have in mind for both hair & makeup. Thank you Michelle for being so kind, fun and great at what you do!

In addition to doing such a beautiful job on our (me and my girls) hair and make up...Michelle brought such a wonderful energy to our special day! She arrived on time, set up some music, and was so happy and accommodating. This experience couldn't have been more perfect.

Michelle and her assistants did an amazing job on the hair and make-up for my wedding. They took care of me, my 7 gorgeous bridesmaids and my mom. They made it very clear that their goal was to make sure that we loved the results of our hair and make-up.. and we did! When anyone wanted any kind of change, they just took care of it like it was no big deal. Everyone was really happy with their results. My hair turned out absolutely gorgeous - even better than the trial run! And might I add, I've had nothing but hair nightmares when I've gotten it styled in the past. A lot of my bridesmaids didn't have a picture of what they wanted or anything, and Michelle knew exactly what they wanted just from a description. She's really great at what she does and very professional throughout the entire process. She's really easy to work with, and I'd hire her again if I had multiple weddings in a lifetime - unfortunately, that's not the case. [By unfortunately, I mean I love me some wedding planning!] :) I recommend her to anyone. I also use her to cut and color my hair. She's worth every penny.

I received a direct mail piece for Michis Hair Design. I assume that I might have been put on a direct mail list from when I attended the Dallas Bridal Show in January. I am SO glad I received Michelle's card! I had originally planned on having hair and make-up done at a local upscale hotel spa. When I received Michis Hair Desgin information, I placed a call. I was fortunate enough to speak to Michelle, who was very accomodating, informed, and ready with advice. She knew how important my wedding day was going to be, and wanted to make sure I thought through the various factors. For example, I was having an outdoor wedding in June, and the spa had told me I would be fine with some basic make-up. Michelle educated me on the various options, and suggested I come in for a dry run. It was nice to meet Michelle, and her staff, and have them give me so much time. They really did give me numerous options, and we all agreed on what looked best. It was an added bonus that Michelle did my dry run on the day of my lingerie shower. My friend's were amazed with how beautiful I looked, even at my shower! It was an added bonus that evening to have my finacee tell me the same thing! Another added bonus was the hair extnesions we used for my wedding. We discussed it at the dry run, and I decided the day of my wedding we would add a few in for good measure! My hair looked absolutely fantastic! It is truly amazing what a professional can do with one's hair! I also had my matron of honor's hair and make-up done for my wedding. She was amazed at how incredible we looked, and still talks about it to this day. It was such a nice treat to spend the afternoon of my wedding with one of my dearest friends having this type of attention, and treatment. It actually gave us a very peaceful afternoon before leading into the big event! We both were 150% satisfied we everything we received from Michis Hair Design. I can't wait to go back for the same type of treatment for my next big event!

I found Michelle to be extremely knowledgeable in her profession. She was proactive in suggesting ways I could improve my skin and hair before my wedding day. It turned out she was so right to suggest I let my hair grow a bit longer before the wedding and she also responded in a positive manner when I made suggestions during the trial run. Other stylists I've used have not offered advice but just responded to what I thought I wanted. Since the first time I went to Michelle for a trial run, I have gone to her twice for other occasions. Once before a photo shoot and again for a special occasion. I totally trust her judgement and her suggestions. She always delivers exceptional results. She will be my "Hairdresser for life!" R.J. Michelle is absolutely the best at what she does! My make-up AND hair was amazing. Everyone commented on how beautiful I looked. She made my special even more special by taking all the stress out of the ordeal that is 'being beautiful" on your wedding day! THANK YOU MICHI!

I am going to preface this by saying Michelle is very talented. She knows what she is doing and does a good job. That being said, she can be rather intimidating. I don't see this in any of the other reviews, but I know I wasn't the only one feeling it. My mom felt it, my grandmother, my mother in law and my entire wedding party the day of the wedding. She is rather demanding, be prepared to feed her and her staff the day of the wedding, with the cash in hand for the 20% tip. My wedding was sort of far out from town, in Azle, a place Michelle had never been. I had to hear her complain about coming out this far several times and was told the only reason she even took my wedding was because my last name was the same as her best friend from high school. I felt like a charity case. I actually ended up crying at my initial appointment with her because she made me feel rather unattractive, commenting on the quality of my skin and hair the entire time and all the things I was doing wrong. She did the same thing to all the girls who got their hair done the day of the wedding. I was as nice as I possibly could be to her, and it did pay off. She eventually calmed down and did a great job on my hair the day of the wedding. I felt absolutely gorgeous and she definitely knows her stuff. Just be prepared for her abrasive Chicago personality, which she DOES warn you about from day one. Also, if you are going to the study to do your trial, make sure to only bring ONE person with you if you bring anyone. The rest of the people you bring will be asked to leave. She told me to start using Nioxin on my hair to make it grow before the wedding. I did everything she told me to do, but this stuff was making my scalp turn red. ACtually any part of my body that the spray landed on after use. I told Michelle this and she told me to keep using it, this was part of the process, something about blood coming to the surface to help grow the hair. I went to have my hair colored a few months before the wedding and found out my entire head was covered in chemical burns from the Nioxin. I had to stop using it and couldn't even get my hair colored because it could have messed my head up even worse. Hopefully she'll be srue to warn people of this from now on, it is a possibility if you use it.

Michelle did an awesome job. I went for a consult in November 2008, booked her on the spot. Wedding was in January 2009, she did my hair and makeup, plus by 3 bridesmaids. Everything was absolutely perfect!

Michis Hair Design (Michelle) was wonderful to work with. I was extremely pleased with the results, and felt like a princess for my wedding day. I absolutely recommend Michis Hair Design for your special day. The make up she uses is water proof, and it's airbrushed on. She even airbrushed blotchy areas on my arms that I have always been self conscious about, and it helped me tremendously with my confidence level. The prices are not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for, and the way I see it, a similar investment should be made in your hair and make up that you make in your wedding dress to insure you look your best and are as confident as you can and should be on your wedding day. Michi's was amazing. Michelle is so nice and does a great job. My hair and makeup looked amazing for my wedding. It even stayed put all night! I would strongly recommend her to anyone!

Michelle is such a wonderful and talented hair and makeup artist. She is so much fun to be around all the HOURS of getting ready! She is very neat and thorough. You will definitely not be disappointed with any of her work. She is my new hair stylist now even after my wedding!

I went to Michelle for my Wedding Hair and makeup and she did a phenomenal job! I also went to her for my trial run and she was very professional and even though I kept changing my mind, she was patient and did my hair and makeup exactly the way I wanted. On the day of my actual Wedding, everything went smooth and perfect! Michelle had taken notes and pictures of the work she did on my trial run and recreated it without flaw. My wedding pictures turned our beautifully and I have to thank Michelle for being a part of my Wedding Day!

Michelle was great right off the bat! She was easy to get along with and really listens to what you want! My hair and make up was perfect! My hair was even still perfect the next day and my hair doesn't even usually hold a curl!! Not to mention she charges considerably less than she should! I would reccommend Michelle to anyone! Michelle is a very talented artist. She went above my expectations for my wedding. For the trial run I took Michelle a picture and said, "I want to look like this"!! She did just that!!! On the actual wedding day it turned out even better! Michelle is confident and takes pride in her work which eased my nerves the day of the wedding. My hair and make-up were flawless and lasted all night. I received several comments all night about how glamorous yet natural I looked. I am attending a wedding this fall and have already booked Michelle to do my hair and make-up again.

Michelle was fabulous! She did my hair & make-up - we did an initial consultation, a run-through and the day of the wedding, she came to my house with an assistant to do hair/make-up for me, my bridesmaids, flower girl and even my mom. They were very professional, took their time with us and made it a very enjoyable experience. Thank you, Michelle!
