Ducky-Bob's Event Specialists

I used Ducky Bob's because they had the linens I wanted and the cheapest price compared to other vendors, but was generally frustrated with my overall experience. Originally when I went to the Fort Worth Showroom to look at the linens in person, my experience was pleasant, but I was not yet ready to place the order, as I was still determining my expected guest count. I then later called to place the order over the phone (I was routed to Carrollton), and I was not pleased with what transpired from there. The quote I was sent listed prices higher than what was currently advertised on their website. When I ask that they modify the pricing to reflect what they had listed online, I was told there was a price increase. This happens and is undertandable, but in my opinion, the professional thing to do would be to say they could honor the original price for my order since it was still advertised online, but ask that I know going forward any additional orders would need to be charged at the current rate. Had this been what happened, I would not have had any issues. Unfortunately, I was told that since some of the linens in my order had to be sub-rented, they could not honor the original price. In my opinion this shouldn't matter if the original prices are still on the website as we are having this conversation, but I was trying to be reasonable and compromise, so I asked if they could at least honor the original pricing on the linens they had in stock. I was simply told No with no other explanation. When I questioned that further, I was told the only linen they could honor the original price on was a single rectangular tablecloth, even though there were 12 other round tablecloths also in stock that would not have been a special order. I was polite during this entire process, but honestly just don't understand why it's so hard to honor the prices listed on all of the items that are in stock, even if they can't compromise on what needs to be sub-rented. Eventually they agreed to compromise as I had initially requested, but there were a lot of frustrating conversations back and forth before getting to that point. Had I not been concerned about the price, then I would have used another vendor, as my conversations with everyone else I checked with were much more pleasant. I would recommend Ducky Bob's if they are the cheapest option for the linens you want, but otherwise I would recommend someone else who is more eager to get your business. Ultimately, everything worked out fine and I had no issues with delivery. The linens looked very nice and arrived...

Very accomodating and communicative. We just had a small order with them for tables, but they treated us as if we had a huge order.

I used Ducky Bob's for my wedding linens and chairs. The website was very helpful in letting me figure out what I wanted and the price. When I was ready to book the lady I spoke to was extremely helpful in getting my order and making sure that I over ordered initially to guarantee that I got what I needed. My friend actually went and picked up and dropped off and they were extremely accomodating with her. I will use them again!

Great but a little overpriced!!!

We rented water glasses, chafing dishes and high chairs. We did our order online, and it was lost. Luckily, we called to check the day before they were closed for a 4 day stretch that included our wedding, and they were able to accomodate our order. It's a good thing that we paid for a damage waiver, because about half of the glasses were broken when a guest sat on the edge of a table, knocking it over. We were not thrilled with the service, but would still probably use them again.

We ordered our table linens and all of our dinnerware through this company. They are generally the company that most caterers in Dallas use. They have the biggest selection and best prices. They are very easy to work with as they have been in the business for some time now. I would definitely take someone with me to help pick everything out, though. It can be overwhelming.

Ducky Bob's was expensive, but we had oddly sized chairs, and the people here really worked to help us find chair covers that fit. They even upgraded us to satin ones for free! We would use this company again!

I used the Ducky Bob's in Lake Worth. They have great rental equipment, great prices, and are very flexible. We had the tables, chairs, and linens for 24 hours with no extra cost- which meant no one had to rush to load up and return all the stuff after everyone had left the ceremony. I'll rent there again!

Ducky Bob's was an excellent resorce for our wedding. Whatever we needed they provided, i.e. tables, table cloths, cake base, chairs, and more! They were the best deal for our money and set up and break down was included in the price. If doing another big event, or small for that matter, we will go with Ducky Bob's again!
